Well I am running 225/45ZR16 ES100's and happy with them.
The speedo will read about 8% fast. You need to change the speedo drive gear to correct it. That will cost about $10.
The lower profile lowers the overall cars gearing by 8% as well of course so it's exactly like changing to a 3.45 diff. Well sort of anyway depending on what you have now.
The AUII 16" alloy rims will be legal with 225's and as long as the load rating is above 90 or whatever's on your door tyre placard the profile itself isn't a legal issue.
