tyres for forte au2 - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Looking for some info on the best tyres for a ford sedan forte au2 ( 16 inch rims) have done some research and probably down to the following

dunlop LM702 around $170
yokohame V550 around $250

Have heard that hankook are pretty good but not many tyre places seem to 'recommend' them

Any advice on the above choices or any other recommendations: any particular reason for going for a 225 rather than a 215: thanks

Go 225/50/16. Hankook Ventus K104 are a good tyre. Hankook Ventus K102 are nearly as good and Kumho Ecsta 712s rank a close third. They are great value for money. They performed very well in the wheels/motor 17" tyre test from a couple of years ago.
