ignis Registered User Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 3	Varying tire tread depths will damage drive terrain I just got a call from my mechanic. He claims the tire treads are all at different depths which is a very bad thing and could ruin my drive terrain b/c I have a 4WD vehicle (2002 Ford Explorer). So, he wants to sell me 4 new tires. I'm thinking B.S! I'd love to hear the thoughts from the members of this forum?
