Hi
Does anyone run specific road/race tyres for track days such as these?
Spoke to Gary at Stuckeys in Blacktown(Dunlop Motorsport dealer)today and found suggested 17in tyre for around $400ea plus Johnny Tax.
Sorry, cant remember what its name was.
Secondly, Kelli, will this be a regular thing if the first one is successful?
Might be worthwhile investing in these tyres as day 2 day tyres will probably be trashed pretty quickly.

Yeah - depending on how succesfull the day will be, will determine the likelyhood of this being a regular event...

The driver day at oran park had a very poor turn out, but I guess a lot of people cant afford the $250 for it.

I am most likely gonna put my 15" rims on the car for any future track days, as I cant afford to buckle my 18's anymore :-(

To anyone who wants some tyres for Wakefield Park, I have some 16" Bridgestone slicks. Reasonable rubber left on them, I ran them in a couple of supersprints on my twin turbo Rx-7. Best offer.
