Shouldn't cost too much to get yours chromed. Are you doing the whole hog in your engine bay or just the shocky mounts?

I've thought about moving the battery and hiding the wiring etc but it's pretty hard. Braided hoses etc. I think as long as it doesn't make the car go faster it doesn't matter.

Looks like I'll have to get them chromed I'd say. No, not going the whole hog - am just going for the asthetics. Will get battery moved at some stage, thermo fans installed because they look neat, and a bit of braided hose here and there. I don't worry too much about performance. I had to chose between having an economical V8 that sounded fantastic, or a high performance beast which cost the earth to run - and after spending money on the V8 conversion, I now want 'pretty' things to look at!!
