I have just decided to rebuild my front calipers and the one of the holes that the sliding pin go through has worn oval at one end. The brakes were a little juddery and I suspect that this is part of the problem.
My question is what brake calipers fit the EA (ie ea/eb/ef/el etc) or is there an a better caliper from another model. When I had a VN commodore we upgraded too VT twin pot calipers. So thats the type of thing I am looking for.
May be aftermarket calipers if they are not too expensive.

To make the conversion to the twin-piston (ford) setup, you will need:

- Aftermarket Swaybar (& possibly mounting points)
- 16" Wheels or Greater
- Lower Control Arms
- Uprights

I know that this can be done for EF/EL & AU1 as they had single-piston calipers up front.

I'm selling my AUIII Brakes, which include twin-piston calipers up front. And i know of a wreckers were you can buy the parts needed for the conversion. Otherwise, best bet would be to try a wreckers, for some E-Series Calipers, or ring Cebco about their brake packages (but you'd most likely need to upgrade the above, if you wish to get one of their packages).

Unfortunately any major upgrades will cost $$$ due to the design of the E-series spindle which is specifically set up for that particular caliper.
