If you take it to a brake place- forget Midas. After taking it in to have the rear brakes replaced, they said that the whole four needed to be done, as well as rotors. After agreeing, but not the rotors, (calipers reco-ed, pads replaced, brake line flushed) the thing set me back $400. He warned me that the m-cylinder might stuff up due to the vacuum flush, but said that he had never seen it happen in my sort of car. Sure enough they stuffed it up and charged another $400. Knowing that the rotors had to be done I bought some off my wreckers and took the thing to ABS. They machined the rotors and said that they brake pads were crap cheapo's and were glued in so tight it would have been a struggle to remove them myself. He replaced the pads with Bendix performance pads and stayed back till 8pm to get the jobs done cos I said that I needed it the next day. It only set me back $250. In summary look for ABS and stay away from Midas.
