I have an 1990 EA S Pak and I want to lower it. I want to lower it so the tyres are about level with the guards.
I also want to make the front and back about level so it dosnt look like a slippery dip.
Any info would be much appreciated.
I think most here would recomend King Springs super Lows.
Wheel arch should be just above the tyre.
For them your looking at 150 a pair, plus a camber kit so u dont kill ya tyres.
Fitting is around $200 if u dint buy the springs from the place u want to fit them. Cheaper if u get it done at the place u buy the springs
Otherwise but some axle stands ($40) and a spring compressor ($35) and a Gregorys manula ($30) ans allow about 1 day to DIY

5th EB Fairmont Ghia 5L. All leather, lowered, exhaust etc
Superlows arent ment to be too bad.
Its the shockies that really determine the ride quality.
SL will scrap on speed humps etc.
You are ment to get shortened shocks. But i know 1 guy in a EF Fairmont with SL's and hasnt changed shocks or camber kit.
And 1 guy in a AU with SSL same deal. No problems so far
Shocks will be over compressed 24/7 but.
And there is a mild chance of springs falling out if shocks are too short.
Looking at 180ish for rear shortened shocks. No idea how much fronts cost

It is recommended that you fit appropriate short-stroke shocks too, normal shocks won't last long and don't justify ride quality. A camber kit is a must if you don't want to ruin your front tyres (the inside will wear abnormally quick). I think these generally range from $100+. I was quoted $140 for fitting of my springs alone. And personally, I wouldn't recommend fitting them yourself unless you know what you're doing or you have someone experienced with you.

i think parts are like $140 and installing takes about 1.5hours total.
I beleive a tutorial is in the work for it too as we installed one on Thanatos' car a few days ago.
