Just ofter some other people experiences with wheel size on EA Falcons. I have been eyeing off a set of 18x9 for the rear and 18x8 for the front has anyone fitted 18's on a early E-series, what is the largest rubber you can fit on the back?

ive got 18"s on mine, it all comes down to the wheel offset. when i was using spacers on the rear they used to rub so i took them off and its fine now on the rear. im runing 245's

When I was looking thru the GOR pics I noticed a Red EL/EF with a set of gadges on the bonnet with a horn looking set of wheels that looks similar to these pics can anyone tell me what brand they are and size and what his name is on the forums.

Seen as it's currently another thread by GTHO3_2.. could you say to the insurance company that the EA GT had 17x8 so all EA's an have 19x9???
That would still fit in with their "rules" or 2" larger in diamater than the largest factory spec for THAT model and 1"wider.
I'm sure they're a bit harder than that.
ie model specific?
- eb gli - factory 15x7 can go to 17x8
- eb gt - factory 17x8 can go to 19x9

What is the insurance limit to wheel size, or does depend which insurance company, im intending on putting EL GT's on my fairmont but from what ive heard to be legal i must go aftermarket as genuine ones are 8.5" wide!

Ive always read all the threads but I am having too much fun now that I have subscribed, it does say 36 a day but it has been 2 days dont understand that. I dont think the 2 larger rule would apply in this case!!
