wheel spacers ?

Where do i get wheel spacers from?
I have a set of rims that are the correct offset and stud pattern for my AUII but the center hole in the rims are not quite big enough to fit on the car. The rims go a little over but is only about 1-2mm bigger than the hole in the rim. Will wheel spacers allow me to use them? and where do i get them from?

Re: wheel spacers ?

you would be better of, to take youre hubs of and get the sholder machined down 2 mm than running spacers...

Re: wheel spacers ?

Any engineering shop could machine either the hub or the wheel itself to correct size, I'm guess it would cost bugger all too.

Re: wheel spacers ?

might go see about getting the wheels machine. dont think you can do the hub because its very thin piece. I think its the bit that houses the bearing. when you take the cap off there is a nut in there.

Re: wheel spacers ?

What wheels are they? Photo?

Machining the center bore of the wheel 1-2mm will leave you with no center caps as the old ones will not fit, but depends on what the wheels are. BTW, spacers are illegal.
