Just a tip to get your wheels looking good. We have a series II CFI manual S Pack with snowflake wheels. If you take the silver paint off the rims with some paint stripper the metal underneath is really quite shiny. Dont do the whole wheel unless you have a lot of time. If you want to make them look really good without spending too much money, get a do it yourself polishing buff kit from Bunnings for $30. They come up great!

If you dudes dont mind some old farts tagging along we will be at the Perth meet next month.

Any one else had problems with throttle cables? Ours had a kink in it and the throttle became a bit 'sticky' (not a good feeling) so when I had a visit to our local wreckers (to get some boot struts) I had a look under the bonnets of 5 EAs and they all had broken cables. They were bent at the clip on top of the rocker cover. Must be a comon problem. Have got a new one now.

my throttle cable had been worn at the clip since i had it, i put a new one in a few weeks ago, faaaaaarrrrrk did it make a differance, dropped 1.5 to 2 sec off my 0 to 100 time, big ****ing differance and the best 50 bucks ive spent!

Dammit, I had my bonnet up the other day and noticed that the throttle cable was becoming really worn at the clip also. Guess I should replace it then. Actually I will point it out when I take her in for a service next month.
