There have been quite a few EA-ELs with 18" wheels on the site. Whether insurance will be happy is another story, but in my experience, insurance companies only care about the width of teh wheel.

Don't you need panel work to put 18" mags on your car?

I hear that the wheel contacts the panel with even 16" ones sometimes.

I've got 17" rims with 45 series rubber on the EBII with no dramas. Generally speaking, if it can be registered with them then insurance shouldn't be a problem.
