Where is the best place to use a scissor jack on an XR wagon to change tyres?

I was just going to take off a wheel from the back right of my '67 XR Wagon and it came with a scissor jack...not one of the bumper jacks like illustrated in the user manual. This scissor jack has a little ball on the top of it, not the sort of clasp type thing my XF scissor jack has on it.

I was wondering where are the spots i can safely jack the car up using one of these jacks because the user manual only tells you where to use the old style bumper jacks.

Please can you tell me spots for the front and the back. Thanks heaps

The maintenance manual should show you. There is most likely a plate just in front of the leaf springs that was designed a lifting point.

If the scissor jack has a ball on the top it is probably inappropriate. I would imagine that you need a jack with a flat top.
