Where can i get a good wheel alignment

Im gettiung frustrated with all the crap i get told when i visit my local Bridgestone that i have been using since day 1

1 person tells me that my camber is at the max and will need to be replaced with aftermarket kits and another tells me that they are fine and can be shimmed out more, i agree with the 2nd opinion as you can still see 2- 3 cm of visable thread inside the engine bay

Does anyone know a reputable wheel alignment specialist in adelaide - Price dosent bother me nor does travel as long as they are very good

Re: Where can i get a good wheel alignment

Have you been to or tried the bridgestone place on the corner of Regency and Days Road at Ferryden Park? Ive used this place quite a few times and been very happy with their job and the service is incredible. I drive past every day and see some nice cars there, so figure they must be pretty good. They even put rubber stops and a cloth on the tyre machine so they dont damage your nice wheels.

Re: Where can i get a good wheel alignment

Ok was talking to a freind and he reccomended Pedders at Keswick, so since i have the day off today i phoned them up arount 8.30 am and they fitted me in straight away, at 9.00 that morning which was very good

Once i got down there they looked at the car and did the safety test (inc in the alignment) and informed me that the front sway bar bushes were badly worn and the rubber mountings in the camber adjustment were perished and the metal pin was flopping around in it

I didnt feel like working on the car on my day off so told them to go ahead and fix it, Which they did straight away , when it got back to doing the alignment they were very good and consulted me about my driving style and as how to set it up

On top of that they gave me a nice discount lol :-), Driving home it was like a new car - The shudder that i thought was the rotors starting to warp has now been eliminated and so that will save me time and money chasing that down

Overall excellent service from everyone down there and delivered as promised on time

I would reccomend these guys to anyone unhappy with there current aligners in adelaide - They are full of ideas and technical advice and the service exceeded my expectations

They also have half a dozen race cars (inc 2 or 3 falcons) out the back getting prepped and they also worked on my mates capri perana with great results
