i Spent $600.00 on kings superlow for front, 2inch blocks on the rear. gt gas shocks on the front, magnums on the rear. the rest is the same as ESP. Cars are big boys toys play with them.

340$ inc wheel alignment at Bridgestone Tyre Center, used Pedders lows and it was professionally done in 40minutes, very happy with them and the ride, i will get the whiteline sway bars. At that time i also moved to G-Grids on front from Potenza RE710 and the potenza's were so so so much better. When I picked up the car it sat a little too high but i was told within a week it will drop another half an inch but the front will be slighty higher as i really needed the lower saddle shocks which i will put in soon with the whiteline bars. After a week and half the car went down abit and it's just how i wanted it. I still scrape with the nose and exhaust on most driveways but I think it's because of the half worn shocks as the don't stop the bounce/rebound.

i went to pedders for a quote for my oll ea and the tried to get 2.5k out of me to lower my car just above the tyres!!!!!......but that was for a full suspension/shocks upgrade with nolathene bushes all round, cmaber castings and control arms.
my bro did it for a couple hundered bucks with a set of kings front and rear, now it scrapes on everything lol. looks phat and low as now
THEONE did you add a new wheel alignment to that ?
mr_mkII, did you do a wheel alignment? did your suspension bound rebound got tested?
Guys imho the point of lowering a casr is not so much looks as it is handleing, in my case the EF had a woefull handleing before I lowered, it was basically dangerous to drive at 100Km/h and most EF's with the standard suspension are. A good wheel alligner will put in some shims on E series fords to negate the need for camber kits, sometimes they can do it sometimes they can't but once you go superlow you basically have to get them or your handleing will be almost worse then before and will wear the outside tyres. Going superlow also needs bigger sway bars as lowering the centergravity of the car so much (3 inches is alot!) will render the standard units to almost useless status.

I am in Melbourne and got my XF ute lowered last Monday at Suspension City.
I cant recommend them highly enough! Excellent service, friendly and good on price.
I got king springs on the front as well as Gabriel shocks, and the rear leafs reset, all for $580.
I got prices from other well known stores for well over $1000.
The car handles so much better, feels like a different car!
