Umm, there's a place in Heidlberg West called 'New Way Motor Wheel Repairs' - if you know the area, they're at the industrial end of Waterdale Road (North end). You can also try 'Advance Wheels' on the Nepean Highway - I think they're kinda just near Brighton or something ?? (No, I don't live near there!). AFAIK, 'New Way' charge $99 (Inc GST) to repair a rim, but if it needs painting, add another $50. Also, depends on how damaged the rim is too - if it's too damaged, there's a possibility that they may not be able to repair it and hence you're outta luck with one bung rim :-(. Still, give them a call (Colin / David) 9457 3141. Friendly / no BS guys too !
have u thought about giving simmons a ring.....i know from experience they are very good on warranty work, and who better to fix it then the manufactuer
I used a place in Moorabbin called Ajax Wheels a few years ago to straighten an XF Ghia snowflake rim. Cost was $90, and I was pretty happy with the result!
I assume they are still around!
