Thanks mate, this is what I was interested in knowing! I guess I'll most likely go for 8s all-round then as I don't want to make the car undrivable (I'll do a tyreyard crawl one day when I have the time, & do a bit of *shopping*).
Mike Gayner, please read the FF T&C. Your post does not contribute to the thread in any way, other than you expressing your opinion. Also, you might like to read my previous post more carefully, I was
not ridiculing all the people out there who DO possess large diameter wheels.
Everyone, Mike in particular (can I refer to you in first name terms, or would you prefer Mr Gayner?) I apologise for the inappropriate use of the term "Bling Bling" (I was picturing
NEW 17s & larger being "bling bling"), as I did not intend to upset anyone as devastatingly as Mike/Mr Gayner has demonstrated. Also, I apologise for sharing my thoughts on what I'd like to do to my car, once again I did not intend to upset anyone with the possible mental image of a late model car with hubcaps (and heaven forbid, it's not lowered either, nor will it be!)
