i have near new 205/65 R15 tyres on ef gli steel wheels and was looking at buying 15x7 wheels.
will my tyres fit on the new wheels safely?

Yes there should be no problems at all.

I had 15x7 rims and had 205/65/15 on front and 245/60/15 on rear. Front tyres were well within specs.

Yep, in tyre catalogues they have listed the range of rim widths that each tyre size will fit - check up your tyres.

yes, it can be done. i've done it and 5000 km's later no worries at all.

Yes they can EB-EL XR came out with 205/65 R15as standard on a 15"x7" rim.

i had 195's on a 7 1/2", I have no idea how they got them on but they worked, they where white walls.
