what have you done to your coupes suspension looking for ideas to drop my coupe

I can give you lots of ideas to make your coupe handle, which includes lowering but I'm not sure if that's a priority with you. Obviously you should start with the springs, front coils need replacing, go with manufacturers recommendations and pick your ride height. Rear leaf springs can either be reset (bent) and usually an extra leaf added to stiffen the spring to avoid bottoming out. The other option which I prefer is to buy another set of springs outwright buy a mob such as Kings Springs.

the last owner put a etra leaf on the rear but stock front and im planing to lower it

Put 1 to 2 inch lowered springs on the front, don't do anymore!

You will seriously effect ground clearance if you go any lower than that.

For a street car (not a pure racing car) I would go no more than 600Lbs springs (stiffness).

Just do the front for now and drive it for a while before lowering the back (only if you need to or want to).

or if your going for a cheapo job you could cut them. this is illegal and your car will not handle as well but it looks kool. if you do cut them dont go anymore than 2 coils, 3 coils drops 4 and a half inch looks cool but dont handle. did it to an xt wagon 195 tires scrape on 3/4 lock
