XA-EL offest different?

Do wheels with an E-series offset fit XC's or is there a offset difference?

Re: XA-EL offest different?

Yes they should fit ok, it was the AU that introduced the new offset. Just for your topic question XA and early XB had smaller hub size so the wheels will go on, but they do not fit properly.

Re: XA-EL offest different?

Got refused an Engineer's Certificate because the later model (XC+)
rims were fitted to an earlier model diff (Shortened XW & small hub) on an
XM 2 door coupe with 302/C4 and XC front brakes.
The hub centre and it's relation to the rim ARE a roadworthy issue
and will affect your insurance!!
XC and later rims should be OK for your model, though check clearance's!

Re: XA-EL offest different?

Definately do. LTD utes correct about the hub. Nothing some later model discs and axles won't fix though.
