V8_GRUNT

Hi there guys i was greasing my wishbone's because 1 is getting noisy and 1 of the nipples won't let me push grease in. I pulled out the grease nipple, cleaned it out and tested it and it seemed fine. I blasted the hole out in the wishbone with compressed air just to make sure there wasn't any crap in there and also stuck a bit of wire in to unclogg it and tried greasing it again, and it simply won't let the gun squeeze grease in, for some reason the lever on the gun won't budge. I know it's not the gun because i was greasing other nipples around the place. Anyone experienced this before? Any advice would be appreciated!! :) Thanks in advance, Mark

If they are squeaky I'd dare say they are stuffed anyway. A cheap replacement is to get some nolethane bushed (non greasable) from XC-XF's. I usually pick mine up from a wreckers (as new) for $10-20 ea. While your there replace all four ball joints if original. I'm lucky I have 2" lowering springs and are able to change the arms in about 20mins per side in ball joints

Or as Brenx said put ones in from an XC - XF
