Does any one have any suggestions on what mags look good on an xd?

If you have an XD-F feel free to show me a pic of ya mags

Coz im thinking of replacing the factory fairmont "alloys" ( they dont look that bad, they suit the car + in good nick, but a bit skinny) with somthing a bit wider to fill the gaurds when i lower my fairmont, they seem to be 2 inchs behind the gaurd so when i lower it it will look crap.

The other day a XA-B GT pulled up to the next pump at which time i was fillin up a jerry can with lrp and sprayed lrp in my face coz it distracted me( yes it did sting, but the car took my mind of the pain ), it had really wide 12 slotters on it with no big centre caps , only a gt badge on the hub.....

Any way can you tke the caps of a set of normal 12 slots and still have them looking good, would the metal behind the caps be crap and dirty?...has any one tried this

Mate I can't go past the dragway indys. On my XD i'm running 275's on an 8" rim and it fits under the guard with just a lipped guard.

I saw an xd( with xf front) on sale on ebay with dragway indies and it looked bloody tuff... any idea how much id pay for them second hand or new, probably 15*7 up front and 15*8-9 up the back?

10 inches wide would be too much much for the 6cyl woudnt it?

Yes XE and XF Ghia (machined face), also EA S pack.

I'd suggest Globe Bathursts, you know from the Phase 4, XC Cobras, etc. From newer Falcons, EF/L 16" XR wheels look good on XDs too I think, so do ED XR6 but they're only 6" (or 6.5) Edit: actually 7"). Other options that look good but would be harder to find would be Superlites (minilight style),

and I'm sure there are others I can't think of at the moment.

You won't fit 10" wheels, just stay with 7" or 8" on the rear at most. If you go wider than that the insurance co's really don't like it.

I'm getting my Centerline Convo Pro's fitted tomorrow. I'll post a pic tomorrow arvo and you can see. I think they should look really schmick.

Front: 15x7's (245/50x15's)
Rear: 15x8.5's (265/50x15's)

Want my old 15x11's with 295's?!!..........nah, they're a bit too fat!

I thought the ED XR6 rims were 7" wide... I know they were on the EB's.

I prefer to be different, and recommend looking for something more unique. Someone's selling a set of compromotive rims on the forums at the moment, what about those?

What diameter you looking at? 14" - 17"???

Go as wide as you like - doesn't matter if you are running a six.
