after reading a couple of threads i am now of the opinion that xf front upper control arms will fit an xw.Is this the case?

XF upper arms will fit but you may have to cut off the threads that stick out of the nuts on the cross shaft to give clearance in the spring/shock tower. Also the arm is slightly longer which will reduce the amount of negative camber available to you. Hope this helps.

xw arms are better. Less slop in the bearings compared to the rubber bushes.
