hey guys... my 1985 XF GL has something wrong with its suspension...it still drives and rides fine but recently it has started jingling whenever i go over bumps..i cant get the car to do it while its stationary (like jumping on the tow bar) so has anyone got any ideas what it might be...
thanx, Slabz

must be the shocks then as the springs have the rubber still. oh well it passed a RWC like that and with the stereo on it doesnt annoy me.....and i dont care if it annoys others!

its definatly a rubber bush thats gone missing check the swaybar and upper shock mount bushes as for davway just keep driving till it breaks looser cheers greg
Also check your door handles, I had a rattle/jingle/whatever you want to call it, and it turned out to be my passenger front door handle, the little rubber stopper was gone.

i'll check that but it only happens when i got over bumps, etc (ie. when suspension comes into play). all my doors are screwed anyway... RR works fine, Drivers and FL u need to push in when pulling handle and RL won't open at all from inside or out since saturday night (dam drunks in my car)...
