After being so careful not to touch the gutter while parking for so long - i was driving along and bang! My wheel hit a gutter at 50 km/h.
Now i have a nice long scrape along the outer edge of my BA XR 17" rim...
Does anyone know if this is easily fixable? It's not too deep, but i'm not sure if they can be machined at all - i'm talking about the most common standard 17" XR BA Rim.
Anyone got any ideas about what can be done to make the damage less visable?

There are specialty shops out there that repair wheel scrapes.

Thanks for that - i haven't been on the board for ages...but i'll check them out.
I think i'll be okay now - i sanded back the damage slightly and touched it up with silver paint and it's come up better than i expected.
