Hi guys will a front 1 inch swaybar from an XA fit on an XY with a 6? And whats a 1 inch front swaybar for an XY generally worth? Easy to find? Thanks

Although most XY and XA front end part's are interchangeable...I think XA has a wider track , If they do they won't quite fit properly. I can do some measurement's for you if you like on some car's at my place. I have an XW and a XC in the backyard...This should be an equivalent comparisson.

Yeop! i think the XA's were something like an inch wider.. dont take my word for it though. But they are definately wider

Hmm you guys are right I found out its about 1.5 inches wider so I guess the swaybars would be different. No need to measure up your cars but i'm real grateful of the offer. Thanks guys.

So i take it you wont be getting rid of the 1" XY sway bar then? We're these the bigger of the two? For the v8's?

Nah I dont have a 1 inch XY sway bar I just have the standard one on 6 cyl XY's. I was just looking at one for sale but it's for XA's. Is a 1 inch front swaybar too much for a 250 2v XY falcon because I want it to handle well.

My brother used a 1 inch sway bar on his Factory XY Falcon 500 ,250-2V ,4-speed...It worked well.
