Okay so we've been and done this whole lowering situation...
The problem I'm facing is, that I've seen a few people use King Springs SuperLows on their cars (mine is an EL Fairmont) and I just dont know if I'll be satisfied.
I like low cars.. and apparantly you can get "Ultra Lows" from King Springs which are even lower than Super Lows... and Im wondering just how low this would make the car, and again if there'd be any real bottoming out problems.
What do you guys think? Just leave it at Super lows? I just wanna make sure I'm happy with my purchases.
I got lows and Konis in my EL Fairmont, and they are great. Probably only lowered it half an inch, but it looks ok and more to the point still rides and handles well.
Superlows would rock yes, but Im afraid of ruining the Fairmonts luxury (who am I kidding, the old man didnt want me to get superlows, my mates Commodore with them rides as nicely as mine!)
But I must admit, I am happy with them, the car still goes over bumps and potholes and doesnt complain about rough roads....

Re: Yet another bloke, crazed about lowering
i went for superlows on the front, and pedders stacker coils they drop the arse about 2.75 inches whilst still being able to trap the coils.
even now with nothing in the car (stripped for respray) the rear tyres are juuuust outa the guards.

Yeah mate, get the super lows. That's what I've got in my EL Ghia and I'm rather happy with the height (and I'm rather fond of low cars) clearance I find is still very good. I can go almost anywhere I desire, and when I do it.... I do it cool (Pulp Fiction)
I went with King Superlows adn I'm really happy with my decision, personally I think that ultra lows, while looking extremely good wont be very practical for everyday driving.
Here's a pic:)
