01 Windstar Traction Control activates on Left Turns
I have an 01 Windstar with 124K miles that has been reliable van for the most part. Recently I noticed that the traction control activates on dry pavement whenever making a low speed left hand turn (like turning at a corner or into my driveway). When I straighten the wheels out it stops. If I turn the traction control switch OFF, it does not happen. The ABS light is not on, nor have I ever had any problems with the ABS system. I visually checked the front ABS sensors and exciter rings, but they are clean (no dirt/rust buildup) and the wiring looks good. It only happens on left hand turns and other than that everything seems fine. Tires are good and at the proper inflation. Has anyone had this problem or have any ideas what might be causing this?
