I just bought a 02 and need the code for my doors so I can reset them. I checked under the defrost cover on the passenger side dash (This is location on my 01 Explorer Sport.)

Any ideas where it is at?

Here are a few leads.....

Ford cars and such will put a sticker on the hinge or back gate with the numbers on it. It will just be a white sticker with black numbers. A five digit code.

Ford provides this number on a small credit-card type card, inside the Owner's Manual binder.

Find the computer interior box. should be small silver box like a radio or CD player, maybe behind glove-box or under dash somewhere, it should have a sticker/label on it with a series of numbers. usually 4 to 6 try them in the exact order.

And if worse comes to worse....take it to the Ford Dealer...They will charge you for this services.
