I am trying to change a fuel rail pressure sensor. Does anybody have any tips for this to help it it go smoothly?

Make sure the fuel pressure is relieved, unplug the connector, remove the 2 screws and replace it. It just pulls out.

i went to ford to buy the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor and it is backordered for 3-4 weeks. The van runs just fine, will it cause more damage if i continue to drive it untill i get the sensor replaced?

It depends on what's wrong with it. If it's causing a rich condition, it can overheat the cats.

Is this pressure sensor on the rear bank, to the left as I'm standing in front of the van looking at the engine? It has wire connector and a vacuum line on it?

What would the symptoms be of it's failure?

The symptoms I had was the van would run poorly going down the road and would die at stop lights. Yes it is located on the left rear side as you are standing in front of the car looking in
