Hello, I've ran a search for the possibility that someone may have the information previously answered but I can't seem to find it.

Ive been having overheating issues with my van. So I replaced the tstat, waterpump, Radcap. I had to remove the radiator and the fan to get to the water pump with decent space. I still have issues with overheating so I was wondering if perhaps I put the heater hoses on incorrectly. The only 2 that I could possibly confuse would be the last hookup off the 3 hose junction coming from the heatercore, and the last hose off the 2 hose junction. They hook up into the metal pipes that run down and connect to the radiator. I have a manual but there isn't any diagrams or pictures of any sort showing the way the connections should look.

Ive searched the web to maybe catch a glimpse of a 3.0 aerostar with the hoodup and close enough to see, but I can't seem to find any. My van has powersteering/AC/automatic trans. And I have flushed till the water is clean several times. Usually everytime I end up draining any fluid with replacing a part.

I can't remember the hose direction but it wouldn't make a difference. Are you sure it's getting hot? Does it push coolant out of the radiator cap when it gets hot?

Yes it does, doesn't have to be on very long either.

If it does it VERY quick, it's possible the head gasket is blown. There's a tester that has a fluid in it and if there's exhaust in the cooling system, it turns from blue to green. I think they're around $25.
