stoney Guest Posts: n/a	1991 ford aerostar 4.0 liter , how reliable are they? I'm thinking about purchasing a 1991 aerostar with a 4.0 liter engine with 120k miles. I currently have a 1989 aerostar with a 3.0 liter with 180k and it runs like a new car yet. Are the 4.0's prone to any problems? Will it run forever like my 3.0?

Watcher Guest Posts: n/a	If you are still interested, I had a 93 wwith 160K on it. Great engine, except you may have to drop $ for a head gasket problem they had. Otherwise, they are an extremely reliable engine.
