Heater selector switch will not change from Defroster to Floor am not sure what to try next what to do?

Is the switch sticking or does it move there and not change where it come out?

my 93 has selector switch that rotates clock wise or counter clockwise to select the defroster all way to the right or counter clock wise to the left to select the floor outlet The selector switch has air lines hooked up to the back of the heater switch also no do not here heater flap opening or closing ,any help or ideas

Those adr run by vacuum. If the vacuum is missing, it goes to defrost for safety reasons. Check the vacuum from the engine to the control to see where the problem might be. (I wasn't sure if the knob was moving and was just stuck.
