confused 1994 aerostar extension housing oil seal

hello this is my first time on here heres my problem i have a 1994 aerostar 3.0 rear wheel drive auto i just replaced the extension housing oil seal and it ran good for 1 day then on way to work the whole seal popped out tryed to put it back in and now its leaking and the van has a vibration if you go over 15mph does anyone have any ideas on what would have caused this? any suggestions would be great it the only car my wife and i have so i would love to fix it thank you

How are the u-joints? You could put it up on stands and run it to pinpoint the problem area.

the u joints are good it almost feels like the driveshaft is out of whack could i have maybe put it back in wrong? or is there a wrong way to put it in?

A one piece driveshaft isn't a problem as for positioning. Was the shaft loose or wobbling when you ran it?
