1996 E-350 EFI fuel injector connectors
Hi all, I have a 96 E-350 with a 351 EFI engine. This rig sat for a while this winter and a friendly family of packrats made themselves a nice home on my engine, complete with guest quarters in my air cleaner. After cleaning out all of their abode, I fixed an obvious chawed off vacuum line and fired er up. SHe was running real rough, my estimate was that about 6 were firing so I looked at the plug wires which were fine and then discovered that these critters had chewed off the wires leading to the #s 2 & 3 injectors, which are of course the 2 located underneath of the intake manifold. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove (and replace) these 2 injector wire clips with the intake still in place? If not, how hard is it to remove the intake? I looked , and I could not see exactly where all of the bolts holding it in place are, let alone knowing if it is possible to reach them. It looks like I might need a 12" tall Troll with a prybar to get this job done. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
p.s. accidentally posted this in E-350 truck page so ths is a duplicate of that post.
