anybody know how to change a rack and pinion on a 1998 windstar???

all you should need are some jack stands that stands about 2ft high....its just time casuming .... frist you take off both front wheels and breakes (if it gives you more room) then you unbolt the tie rod ends and hammer them out (dont hit the tie rod, hit the side where it bolts into) then unbolt the r & p from the cradle disconnect the holes then pull it out. just make sure you remember where the hoses went b/c theres an input and return line.. good luck
