2 problems with 93 Aerostar - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

My 93 Aerostar has these codes: KOEO 561, Memory Code: 181, KOER: 565, 10, 111. Any help as to what those codes mean?
Underneath the van towards the back, I hear noises as you slowly back up or pull forward, and as you slow down to go into a turn. It sounds like the whole frame is going to fall into the road! Any ideas as to what it could be?

I found out that the fuel filter is probably causing the loss of power problem, so I replaced it today. Hopefully that will take care of that. If not, it will be the fuel pump.
One other problem is the temp. guage: it goes up to 1/2, then to the right of half to about 3/4, then comes back down to 1/2. Does anyone know what this new problem might be?

The fuel filter has not helped the problem. My mechanic has not found the problem yet either, even though he has run some tests on it and while driving once, it acted up on him, losing power. Any ideas?

My mechanic did a thorough tune up to the van and it runs fine now.
I'm looking now for a small car which gets real good gas mileage. Have an idea of good places to look?
