2000 Windstar Transmition bounce when shitfting7
I have a 2000 Windstart with 3.8 engine.
When under light acceleration sometimes I notice a bouncing affect as the transmition shifts from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. The bounce feels similar to running over washboard road. It will last for a few seconds however if I let up of the gas, it stops.
Also when cruising down the road, I often notice the Tach jumping a few rpms faster and then returns to normal. When it does this I don't notice any shifting or jerking.
I have taken to Cottmans Transmittion shop twice and both times they said that they can not reproduce the problem and that everything checks out okay.
