2003 Ford Windstar code - sensor
I have the check engine light on and i took it to a few different places and it says the same code, but the thing is that I replaced both oxygen sensors, brand new and the person told me that it was the back oxygen sensor, the front one is ok. I'm really stuck, don't know what to do because I need to renew my car by June 1st, and I can't pass emission tests like this.
btw, i heard you can call the department of motors vehicles and request some paperwork to give to the mechanic so the he has to pass you if shows to be the oxygen sensor, not some other problems, since I can prove that they have been replaced.
This is the code I got:
P0141 - explanation: The powertrain control module monitors the oxygen sensor heater. The computer has recognized a failure in this circuit
1. Faulty HO2S12 (bank 1 sensor 2)
2. Poor connection at oxygen sensor
3. Check circuit fuse
