I recently purchased a 2003 Ford Windstar SEL. I really like it, but unfortunately the power locks have gone crazy in the last few days. I hit a pothole and the locks clicked open on their own. Then they continued to click as though trying to unlock again and again on their own. I am not a mechanical person, but I would love to have an idea of what the problem might be and how much I should expect to pay to have it fixed. I'm one of those single females that unscrupulous mechanics have taken advantage of in the past.

Kim u have a door that is not getting good connection. I have had the same thing happen to me. I cleaned the connections at the doors and it solved the problem.
