confused 2004 Freestar doorlocks

Hi everyone I was wondering if anybody knows how that after I shut off my van how I can have all door locks unlock not just the drivers door.
I have looked in the manual and it talks about using the touch pad entry system to do personal codes with personality features but does not go into how to use these personality features or what they are just that there is 3 of them. There is also something about "driver configuration mode " but it does not go into any detail about this either.
I just want it that when I get out of the van all the doors are unlocked so I dont have to go back to the drivers side and unlock the doors so I can get into the rear cargo or the sliding door open.

Hello and good day:

The "Driver Configuration Mode" Has nothing to do with your Door Unlocking together. Your PCM is Programed to do this...!!

My Question is why do you need all Four door to unlock at the same time?? This is a Major Safety Feature...May I suggest you just push the "Power unlock" for all the doors....

Well I find that I get around the other side of the van go to take my little girl out of the rear seat where the sliding door is and it is locked I am used to Olds Silhouette van which unlocked all the doors when you shut it off but would only unlock the drivers with a single push of the remote fob.

OOOHHHH Im sorry forgive me...That makes sense!! I am sorry to say that again this is one of Ford's Safety Feature. Don't you have a all Four power lock on the Drivers side Door arm rest??

On our 2001 Windstar, we have that feature...how ever we do not have power sliding doors. And Im not sure how the New Freestars work.

I will see if a few of the other Monitors here can help you further...Thank you and Keep us posted.
