2005 ford freestar egr valve

Good afternoon everyone !!! I own a 2005 freestar and I'm getting the code p0401 ( egr insufficient flow detected ), do this means that I have to change the egr valve, is easy to do it, where is located ???
Any help will be appreciated !!!!

It could also mean that the tubes are plugged for the flow. You'd have to remove it to check and clean the valve and tubes, Run vacuum to it and see if the engine dies or runs VERY rough. OBD-II Trouble Code: P0401 Insufficient EGR Flow

There are two common things for a P0401 on this vehicle. First and the most common thing is a faulty DPFE sensor. Second the EGR ports under the upper plastic intake become clogged and need to be blown clean with compressed air after the plastic intake is removed. If you remove the intake, you will have to replace the intake o-rings as well and isolator bolts those also fail a lot.
