86 Areostar Transmission Problem

Manta523 Registered User Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 3	86 Areostar Transmission Problem I have the A4ld Automatic Trans. It takes about 5 seconds to go into forward or reverse. Then the first shift comes at 30 mph and the next shift is at 50 mph. Any ideas? Also what is the proper band adjustment? The book say's 10 lbs then 2 turns back other web sites say 15 lbs and 1/2 turn back. Thanks
