88 Club Wagon, transmission dipstick?

I just got this van and I'm wondering if there is a way to check the automatic transmission fluid? I've checked all over under the tiny hood and even took out the center console area in between the front seats and couldn't see a way to check there either. What gives?

It's under the hood on the passengers side of the engine. Not real easy to see but once you do, it'll seem easier. Where in Oregon do you live?

I live in Klamath Falls where it snows all too much. You? Thanks for the info I found it, it has a white colored handle on the dipstick and required a special funnel to fill without removing the air cleaner box thing but I got it!

That's the way they are. You need a funnel to fill it. I had a funnel and a hose stuck one the end to reach. I live in Grants Pass.
