96 Wndstar Blowing fuses - Ford Forums

I have a 96 Windstar. Recently it stared blowing the instrument light's fuse. When the fuse blows, I still have power at the fuse box. I put in a new fuse and nothing happens. If I wait alittle while I can put in a new fuse and it will work for just a few minutes then blow the fuse. I think there is something getting hot then shorting out. I do not have a wiring diagram.
Does anyone have a diagram on PDF thaey can email me?
Or does anyone have experience with this and can give me some advice?

If you are still having this problem, check the rear 3rd stop light, the top one, you have to remove the plastic cover on the liftgate but it is only a few screws very easy. Then pop out the lights by giving them a 1/4 turn , see if they are starting to melt, this could be a fire hazard and causing all your short elec problems.
