99 Windstar P0720
I am getting OBDII code P0720 on my 99 Windstar, "Output Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction". I am a bit confused as to the location and part name of this sensor. The Haynes manual is useless - doesn't mention it or the code at all. Some forums state that this is also called a "Turbine Speed Sensor", while one online Ford store lists a similarly named part called an "Output Shaft Sensor". Another blog states that TSS and OSS are the same - except that it's called a TSS on the Windstar. As if things aren't confusing enough, another blog states that there are both a TSS and an OSS on the tranny!!! Any informed advice would be appreciated.
