aejcg Registered User Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 1	'99 Windstar "popping" My 1999 Windstar started "popping" in the drivers side wheel when turning to the left. After the initail "popping" sound and straightening out, it would stop. However, today it "popped" when I turned and continued to "pop" going down the road. I am afraid to drive but need to know what it is. A shadetree mechanic said it sounded like a CV joint, any ideas?
