I have a 99 windstar that has a power sliding door on the pasenger side. the door takes spells where the lock motor will not unlock, and right now it has been locked for about a week and a half. when you press the unlock button you can here it try to unlock but it just doesn't. I had the same problems with the front doors and intern I had ALL the lock motors replaced(5 in all) and that seemed to fix that problem except for the right side sliding door. when you press the power door button you can hear the door motor try to open the door but with the lock not unlocking it will stay closed. I think that I am on my third lock for that door. the other two were replaced thinking that they were bad but I know now that they could not have all been bad. when it gets like this you can't even pull up on the knob. I have pulled so hard that I have pulled the knob off. can anyone help.

I had a problem like this on my 2000 windstar and i put some grease on the linkage for the lock and never had another problem.
