Aerostar 1995 4.0L - Fuel Filter - Inertia Switch
This is an Aerostart 1995 4.0L (extended).
Trying to change the Fuel filter. According to Chilton, the procedure involves releaving fuel preasure by disconnecting the Inertia Switch on the right side of the trans hump, open the fuel cap and let the engine run for about 15 to 30 seconds until it stops.
I removed the trans cover below the radio and located a white connector. I disconnected it, ran the engine, but it did not stop after a few minutes, so that must not be the inertia switch.
Does any one know where this inertia switch really is or any alternative to relieve the fuel line preasure to be able to change the fuel filter?
