Does this stuff work or not?
For as long as I can remember there have been all different types of oild additives. In the 90s there was Slick 50 and all of its immitators.
I just heard on the radio an ad for something called Motor Silk. They say it will reduce friction by using Boron. They have all the chemistry in their site and all the companies that are using it.
The simple question is Does it really do anything? We are all looking for better ways to reduce friction but is like the others more snake oil?
Will using synthetic oil be just as good? I know there are people that don't even believe in the need for synthetic oil.
Does anyone think that using this stuff can help reduce wear and tear over and above regular oil changes and maybe even the use of synthetic?
Thanks
